Since the beginning of the year, students have been using desk shields with a clear window cut out on the front panel, but with an opaque frame surrounding the window, and opaque sides. This has made it extremely difficult for students to see and be seen, while staying safe. Students have expressed frustration with being unable to clearly see the whiteboard at the front of the room, and not being able to see their classmates to interact with them and give them their full attention when participating in lessons. Students need complete clear desk shields to maintain safety, but improve engagement and ease of learning. These shields will create a whole new world in our classroom! Everyone will be able to see and be seen! This is especially important for student morale in these difficult times.
