Our marching band has grown both musically and in numbers the past few years. We have gone from an afterschool volunteer band, to three curricular classes and a program of over a hundred students! All of our instruments are used or donated, and have been repaired multiple times, leaving their cases in even worse shape! As our band program grows, we want to give students experiences outside of the classroom, traveling to away football games, marching band competitions, and parades throughout the Los Angeles area. Our students struggle to see life beyond their corner of the world, and a new Sousaphone case protects our instruments to ensure we can travel without concern!

About my class
