My desire is to use the Osmo Genius Kits in conjunction with the Fire Tablets as one of our daily literacy and math centers. Osmo accommodates differentiation by offering leveled learning which ranges from beginner to expert. Osmo makes learning fun by using toys as teaching tools. Hand held pieces interact with the Fire Tablet to bring the student's actions to life. The combination of tactile exploration and innovative technology make learning both engaging and exciting. Osmo learning games develop a wide range of skills including but not limited to: shapes, spatial reasoning, geometry, phonics, sight words, vocabulary, letter recognition, counting, addition, creative drawing, hand-eye coordination and logical reasoning. Osmo is used in over 30,000 classrooms and I would love to use it in mine!
