Hands-on cultural learning is the most helpful way to provide in a foreign language education environment. Although online and other sources are available for students to do their own research and study as a project, the long history and culture of traditional Chinese Medicine are complex and may be difficult for students to research and comprehend thoroughly. I believe that the visit of Dr. Jennifer Ho will be greatly beneficial for my students. She will provide my students with a thorough and interactive demonstration to help facilitate their understanding of traditional Chinese medicine to ensure they have complete knowledge of the subject from an authentic source.
