My students will use these materials on a daily basis. The school hasn't received any new items for 10 years, and the stereo system is outdated. Speakers have blown out and fallen due to the system being outdated. The new system will allow for me to play music during dance with perfect pitch and range, where it won't cause a distraction to the class at hand. These units will support me supporting the students by having the up to date materials needed to grow a dance program. These items will have a huge impact on my students lessons each week and will grow them into the dancers they came here to be. The classes themselves provide all students with the ability to try their hardest in every style they learn, and give them an idea of what they may want to improve on or what they can master. All of these items from the music to the mats and weights, will be used for acro, stretching, flexibility, and increasing stamina to help our dancers achieve success within the dance magnet program. I will continue to grow professionally by attending dance PD's where all of these items are used.
