My classroom library is a place that my students really enjoy. One of their favorite activities is to go to the library and shop for exciting and interesting books to read. Every student who retrieves a book from the library will have the opportunity to place their books in their book baggy, which is large enough to hold several books. This will allow students to have access to books right at their fingertips. I plan to place the book baggy on a hook behind each of the students chair. This will allow minimal walking back and forth to their cubby, switching out their books. This item will also save students space in their desk. Students will be able to switch their books out of their book baggy weekly. This item will also help students keep up with their books and not have books scattered and possibly becoming damaged or misplaced.
