Today's student has been indoctrinated with the use of technology. It's what students in school are being provided or have access to. An LCD monitor, for my SpEd resource room will allow me to review whole group lesson/material/s presented within the general ed classroom from District curriculum for reading and math Too often, Special Education is forgotten when it comes down to providing technology and/or the same curriculum materials General Education teachers are given for their classrooms. When students are sent to the resource room with incomplete classwork and/or assigned homework, which may not have been understood, I would be able to review the lesson/s again with student/s, provide more time for thinking, processing, and answer questions of confusion to eliminate frustration as well as provide modifications/accommodations to the lesson/s.
