Being able to use a physical dictionary instead of an online one will teach them to use alphabetizing skills to look up a word by the first, second and other letters. The wireless speaker has allowed me to play quiet instrumental music when my class is working as well as have a dance party as a class reward. My students enjoy using the sidewalk chalk and foam football at recess. The replacement items are helpful such as dry erase markers for my students to show their thinking. As many of my students started the year without all of their materials to learn I was able to give to them. The students needed 3 ring binders to keep their papers organized and neat. The students have felt very successful in our reading class. The extra lined paper allows students to be able to write as much as they want without a fear of running out of paper. With the cleaning supplies we clean our desk weekly and keep germs away.\r\n\r\nWhen the boxes first arrived, the students weren't in school yet so I they saw all the materials after they arrived. The students were very happy when they were able to receive a 3-ring binder since they didn't buy one and it was fully loaded with lined paper for them. \r\n\r\nStudents now have a 3-ring binder for 4 modules of reading and enough lined paper for the remainder of the year. Next year they will write a note to a new 3rd grader and the binder will be given to them.
