Career Explore is a dynamic program at our high school that helps disengaged students reconnect to their education through career studies, rigorous projects, and renewed hope in their future prospects. Through the use of Chromebooks students are able to research future possibilities and begin seeing themselves in their future lives. We support previously disengaged students through a flexible learning schedule, real world project based learning, essential soft skills instruction, and providing work based experiences and internships through community and business partners. Every student is capable of learning, but not every educational design is capable of teaching. When blocks of students are not learning, it is the responsibility of educators and communities to adjust their teaching and education. Fort Lupton and its high school does just that with Career Explore.
