In our classes, we chant, sing, and dance through 90% of our whole group lessons. We want all students to be heard, even the most quiet of voices. This project will allow everyone to become involved in our community and build self efficacy and belonging. It will also increase academic confidence and performance. According to a study at the University of Iowa, academic performance and confidence levels are a direct link: higher confidence=higher performance. This unique microphone system will foster speaking and listening skills; ultimately boosting communication skills, which will improve our society. Confidence plays such a huge role in learning. Let’s enhance our ability to grow, to have self-belief, and know that we can do anything. Everyone CAN be super!
