By having a projector in our classroom, this will enhance and further educate my diverse learner students about the goals and objectives they need to learn about. In my classroom, I like to provide a variety of resources (textbooks, hands-on materials, experience, and technology), and connect them all together, when teaching material. This allows a variety of ways to look at a subject or topic, and further reflect and learn about it. Having technology within the classroom can help further support my diverse learner students abilities: visually, auditorily, technology wise, and even hands-on. The students I teach live in a low socio-economic area, where additional resources are not always accessible to them. Obtaining a projector for their classroom, when connected with other technology devices, will help expose and educate my students about learning through technology (not only academics, but character education, life skills, etc), and allow them the same educational opportunities that their peers may have.
