A large rug for my classroom will make a difference in my classroom and be essential for my students as we come together each day for our morning circle, read-alouds, partner word, math exploration, center activities, games, and lessons. It will be a location where I model literacy and math skills, engage the students in guided practice, and provide independent practice as they master skills. This rug will be an all important gathering place for my 3rd graders. My students are bilingual and I love how the letters and corresponding pictures on this rug will reinforce letter sounds! The students will absolutely love this bright and cheerful rug!
