Education is taking a route where every subject has to become on board with 21st century learning, which is a new initiative that incorporates technology into the classroom. Physical education courses are lacking the resources to stay current with the system. With meeting the state's expectations, these fitness trackers will give the students in my soccer, yoga, power-walking, and volleyball classes the idea how much calories they burn in each of my workouts, how many steps they take while going for walks or completing cardiovascular workouts, and monitor their heart during my class. All these tools are life-long skills that they can use to remain in good health for life. I will utilize these fitness trackers to let the students set goals for themselves and reflect the positive benefits exercising brought to their lives. It also can give the instructor a basis of each student's activity level and their needs to ensure the upmost success for these kids now and in the future.
