My students love to work together! But, they know we also have to work alone. When it's time to work alone, they want to be in a place with little distractions and a place that is comfortable and they are still able concentrate. The building we are in has hardwood floors and would really like a soft, alternative place to sit when it is time to work individually. Having bean bags chairs in the room, would give students a place to sit comfortably and read. A bench in the room would also let students to work in small pairs on assignments.
