This laptop and tablet will be used to help my students stay engaged and growing in Algebra 1 knowledge. One complaint I often hear from students is that they don't see the point of math and so they find it irrelevant and boring. Another complaint is that it is too hard and confusing. Through the use of these tech tools, I plan to help students find the relevance of math concepts in their everyday lives, while also making it more fun and easy to understand. I plan to incorporate various media into my lessons with the laptop to engage students and further explain content. The tablet will be used to help students with special needs that need further clarity on certain concepts to be able to access apps and other media that will allow them to learn in a hands-on and exciting way.
