Offering the children and the ​opportunity to have a computer and tablets will allow the students to work towards a goal of earning an incentive and something to work towards. The students of this school are typically low income and do not have access to tablets and computers at home. Comcast offers very affordable internet access and tablets and a computer would greatly benefit a student by allowing them access to information outside of what they learn at school. Giving the students technology will also get the parents involved to help them understand the equipment and assignments. They will be an incentive to also increase attendance to encourage them to want to come to school and learn.
