The materials I requested will help me to truly teach my students American history. I want them to develop a love of it and have the resources to be able to explore their US History interests on their own. All of the resources I requested (shelves, books, and posters) will become a part of our classroom library, which I will utilize in my teaching but will also be available to all students at any time. My hope is to create a classroom library that is well-loved! I want it to be a space that my students go to for help with classwork, but also to explore diverse perspectives and histories.
