This past year we received a grant to purchase a professional sound system to control the show choir band and pit orchestra for the musical. Through the generosity of prior donations, our students are able to learn how to perform with a professional-quality sound system, in-ear monitors, and proper sound mixing. Last year, we used a standard rolling cart to transport the system, but this year we are hoping to house it in a permanent rack that we can use every year. This will greatly shorten the time needed to set up the system and will protect the investment that has already been made. Since we use the system at every show choir competition, it is important to have a proper case to carry and protect this expensive equipment. We travel around the state and country competing, and the cart we currently use is not meant to house the system. We want to make sure the sound system that has transformed the sound of our performances over the past year can be used for many years to come! This cart will improve the musical experience for over 300 students who participate in the North Central show choir and theater each year! Thank you for your consideration!
