The desks currently in our art studio have been in the building and used since the building opened in 1971! While these desks have served our students wonderfully for almost 50 years, they have unfortunately become a safety concern. We want our students to feel welcome and safe in the art room. Being able to have every student, regardless of size, shape, or ability, create art in our studio with little to no difficulty would be ideal. Switching from desks to art tables allows students to sit in a chair that works for them individually and allows better movement for our students who have mobility assistance. These tables will create a better environment for all students!
