I will have my students draw bridge designs using these materials then they will build their design using the bridge kit. After they have finished building the bridge we will test each bridge to find out what each design will hold. It is all about learning the fundamentals of engineering and design and what better way to start than with these items. The products that I have selected will help my students by giving them additional learning tools to use so they can sharpen their skills. I want my students to know how to draw using pencils and paper like draftsmen used to do instead of using computers.
