The Blue Jacket Cafe will provide my students with a number of skills that will benefit them both today and in the future. Running a business requires students to develop their social skills, count and organize money, prepare orders, market and advertise, inventory supplies and develop positive relationships with their clientele. The Blue Jacket Cafe will allow teachers and staff around the school to place coffee orders which will then be prepared and delivered the following day. Some students will be in charge of preparing the coffee while others will deliver. This will give my students the opportunity to learn new skills while also becoming more involved in their own school community.
