This is my first Donors Choose project, and because I am a first-year teacher, I am trying to gather all the necessary materials my first graders will need. I have chosen a combination of math and reading essentials, such as leveled books and manipulatives that will help them understand math concepts and enjoy the workshop model. In order for my students to fully understand the curriculum being taught, they need to have experiences with engaging materials that allow the concepts to become more concrete. The resources I chose will help my students make their growth for the year. Thank you in advance for your generous donations- it will touch so many little hearts and hands.
