My classroom is home to 30 bright and eager kindergarten students, many of whom come from low-income households and are multilingual learners. Despite the challenges they may face outside of school, they arrive each day excited to learn, explore, and grow. For many of my students, school provides a safe, welcoming, and supportive space where they feel valued and encouraged. As their teacher, I want to provide the tools, resources, and experiences they need to feel confident and successful from the very beginning. Access to essential classroom supplies allows my students to participate in hands-on learning, build independence, and develop important academic and social-emotional skills. My goal is to make their first year of school a memorable one while creating a strong foundation that will support their learning and success for years to come.
