As an incoming second year teacher, I am becoming more aware of what I truly need for my students to succeed in my classroom and am consistently reflecting and research on how I can improve. My teacher toolbox is always growing! My overall goal for my classroom is to always provide my students with a positive learning environment that keeps them inspired, challenged and most importantly, happy to come to school each day. My students love to learn, and I love to teach them! I have also been an employee for my school's literacy after-school program that helps students' reading and fluency through performing arts. This program has limited funding and would love to support these students' experience with costumes, props and set pieces that will make their hard work come to life on stage.
