The bins are big and sturdy and just what our weighted blankets and and stuffed animals needed to rest their heads while the students are out of the room. When the bins are not in use, they are able to collapse for easy storage. The wicker baskets was also a great addition to our table toys. Each backet holds all of our toys we need for that one activity. It keeps everything clean and on the table The colored baskets keep our art supplies organized while we are at the center and are tall enough to hold the pencils. They always fall to the ground on us. Communication buttons have batteries and have recordings of language samples. Batteries are expensive and are not longer useful once they are done. I chose to use rechargeable batteries to not only save money in my own pocket, but to also help save the environment and not throw away used batteries when we were finished with them. A popular item that multiple students request daily to use is to create a burger sequence activity. They love following the menu card to create their own burger. These materials have helped make our learning centers more interactive and meaningful for my students.\r\n\r\nLast month, I found a wonderful apple-themed resource! Students practiced their math and reading skills while learning about the apple life cycle. They especially enjoyed sorting apple parts, sequencing pictures, and completing fun matching activities.
