A light table will create an inviting learning space in the classroom where children will be engaged in learning activities through play without even realizing it! Our light table will be used for science, literacy, art, math and to encourage social skills like sharing and communication. Small groups of students will rotate through this center on a daily basis. We already have so many manipulative items just waiting for a light table to give them new life. We will explore colors, examine fall leaves , count using colored chips, design using transparent blocks and so much more! The possibilities are endless!

About my class
