These materials will support reinforce all lessons in my classroom by supporting students individual independent work. These materials make all the difference in the classroom as they will support students focus, joy, and strengthening of the lessons they will be learning. New books in Spanish and those that are bilingual will support the acquiring of a new language and the strengthening of the first language, as well as the enforcement of new vocabulary words. The Yasmin books are about a second grader with Pakistani roots who takes advantage of clever moments to solve problems. She uses her surroundings and her bigger than life imagination to face any situation. I feel my kids will be able to connect to Yasmin as well as find confidence from her adventures. I would love to have a more diverse library in the classroom, so the students now and those to come have a wide variety of choices to choose from and enjoy.
