With the additional Chromebooks, students will receive individualized instruction based on test scores and diagnostic assessments. When they log on to Khan Academy and ACT Academy along with other programs, the students will work specifically on areas that data shows need the most improvement, but will also gain them the most points on test day. No two students’ assignments will look the same because of the differentiation and data-driven instruction these programs provide. As students work through these programs, I will also be provided with data to organize small groups based on need and further support the data-driven instruction with a small group, teacher-led instruction and well as one on one tutoring. Students will rotate through these scientifically supported websites and small group teacher-led instruction centers in order to meet each student where they are and provide specific instruction that will allow them to earn their diploma and begin their next stage of life.
