These supplies will give my lower income students a sense of belonging. When the students come to school and see others with new clothing for the new year, they are mad, upset, and frustrated by their situation. And sometimes those emotions bleed into the classroom and disturbs the learning environment. Ensuring that students feel safe and comfortable in the classrooms are essential to motivating them to do their best. And a great way to help motivate our students is to make sure that they are clean and comfortable with the uniforms that they wear. The products that I have selected will not just give them clean uniforms but a means to wash the uniform they wore to school that day. Also it will give them the supplies they need to clean themselves and to stay clean. Knowing that you look and smell like everyone else is a great way to get you to thinking and acting in a way that is acceptable in a general educational setting.
