I am looking at acquiring books for my classroom library. Working at a title one school, many of my students do not have access to books outside of the classroom and the ones that I currently have are being borrowed constantly for our schoolwide Drop Everything And Read. I am looking to add books to my personal library to support my students literacy skills and to provide them with a greater variety of books to read. Many of my students have already read the books that I have in my library and are hungry for more. They often look for themselves in the books they read, and I would like to provide more opportunities to find themselves in the pages of the books they read.

About my class
