The Osmo materials and games will revolutionize learning for students. Throughout the learning process students will be engaged with the interactive coding games and immerse themselves in process of coding fun. With the world evolving everyday, students must use the tools in their toolbox to gain new skills. By implementing the Osmo in our classroom, students will be building their problem-solving and logic skills while also developing number sense, letter recognition, vocabulary, construction, and phonics skills. Students will be given the opportunity to interact and manipulate the gaming pieces to match the required patterns (whether it be shapes, letters, or numbers) on the device. They will also be given the opportunity to learn coding by placing different blocks in a specific pattern to make different sounds, thus creating music! My project will help students feel excitement in their educational adventures with a hint of the future. i will be using the materials from home during remote learning, and will teach them with the tools. When we return to on site learning, the students will have prior knowledge of the program and how to use it independently in the classroom.
