We are returning to the classroom after over a year of distance learning. This time has been extremely challenging for students, families and teachers alike. It has also been isolating for many. The beginning of this school year will be an opportunity to come back together in community. We are asking for your support in purchasing two sets of clean, new classroom rugs. These rugs will make our meeting and library spaces feel comfortable and cozy. Much like how a nice rug in your living room can bring people together, nice classroom rugs are essential for creating a learning environment in which students can learn and grow together in shared spaces. Providing spaces where students feel safe and comfortable, where they are able to connect and collaborate with one another is extremely important for the success of our return to the classroom.
