Having this listening center will be wonderful to let these children listen to books on CD in the listening center as they read along. As teachers, we always stress the importance of parents reading to their children; however, not every child has this opportunity. That is why, I would like to create a listening center in my classroom. Beside teaching them critical listening skills, I believe listening centers can help students decode unfamiliar words, introduces new vocabulary, and models fluent reading. My kindergarten students need a functional listening center that include a CD player with multiple headphone jacks, headphones, and several books on CD to help them achieve their goals. You can help us by donating to this project so that my students can have an amazing listening center. Thank you in advance!
