As I am opening the before school orchestra and band program at our elementary, I have had many parents thanking me for having it be an opportunity for their kids. Music is such an important part of life, with many studies showing how it not only helps their discipline and studies, but their overall life success. The materials I need would really help start our program off on a great foot. While students bring their own supplies, things happen that they have a reed break during a practice or concert. Or they need to move up a strength. Having reeds on hand will help me not spend money out of my own pocket and have some on hand for those moments. Same thing for the valve and cork grease. The tuner will really help as I teach the students ear training and tuning to a sound. The snare drum will be perfect to give my percussion students the chance to play on a snare drum for our concerts and get hands on experience. All of the materials requested will be so helpful to our program! I hope you consider donating to our awesome elementary!
