The tug-of-war exercise is a classic team building activity where two groups of people grab on to a rope on either side of a flag. On the mark they will all attempt to pull the other side of people across a marker. The tug-of-war it a total body exercise however the part of your body that will be the most sore afterwards is your face because of all the smiling you will have done. This whole class activity gets everyone involved. When groups of students can synchronize their efforts they will have the most success. Tug of war is a great way to teach teamwork, perseverance and cooperation.
