In today’s polarized socioeconomic climate, you can help marginalized students of color have the authentic musical experience they so richly need and desire. Allowing them performance opportunities with professional musicians gives them an educational experience that prepares them for performing after high school, and helps educate them on professionalism outside of the classroom (in the real world). In addition, performing and interacting side by side with professionals gives an insight on how to better support themselves economically using their God-given musical talents! Who knows how much of a difference you can make by letting these kids know that we believe in them!
