The rug that I am asking for will help accommodate the number of students I teach at a time and build a stronger and kinder community where everyone has a place to sit that is not the cold floor. This rug will also boost the music environment of the classroom and help everyone feel included in the class discussion. Students who have to sit off of the rug on the floor don't feel included in the class and tend to participate less. With this rug, none of the students will be in that position. Everyone will know that they are welcomed and included in the music fun and learning experience.
