I am trying to increase the social emotional learning (SEL) for students in my school. Many need help to deescalate and we have implemented some supports. We want to work to eliminate detention by replacing it with yoga. Research has shown that increased SEL provides students with support to manage, cope and move beyond real adverse childhood experiences. We want to increase this learning and give them additional tools to manage this trauma in real life and as they develop into adults. These yoga mats are necessary and our students can not afford to provide their own. Thank you in advance for any support you can provide.
