I have over 450 students that I teach art to full time every week. I love working for a charter school that focuses on place-based and project based learning. We give students hands-on experiences every day to help them explore and learn about the world, and about themselves. I teach my students multiple ways of expressing themselves through visual art. My classroom is a safe space for all students, where they feel cared about and important. My students each have their own unique potential. I aim to help each student discover their strengths by offering lessons including a variety of options for choice to let their individual vision shine.
