Students need to have options for places to engage in project-based hands on learning! Students thrive when flexible seating options increase the ability to choose a seat that is reflective of personal comfort and movement. Flexible seating will encourage students to take charge of their learning and make the choices that work best for them. The creativity in students increases when students are able to sit in an area of choice that allows movement. With the ability for students to sit at a Round Pub Table Set students will be able to see all aspects of the classroom. Creating an inviting, welcoming, and flexible classroom ensures that students are able to be successful. Student engagement increases greatly when given the responsibility of choice in seating that best fits them. Items listed will allow for students to explore additional seating options than the traditional student desks. If students have choices available their ability to create effective hands on learning increases. The Kore wobble stools are made for teens that will allow students to sit at desk/higher tables with movement to release built up energy. The Anywhere Teacher chair will allow students to travel around the room with their seat to an area that best suits their learning environment. I hope that flexible seating options will encourage my students to make responsible seating choices that will foster creativity in project based learning!
