About 80% of my students that complete my course become certified in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Having certifications in these industry standard programs can make a big difference as they enter college or begin to look for work. Many students at my high school don't have computers at home. This makes it challenging for them to master the skills being taught in my classroom. We have a few laptops that students can check out at night to complete their work. However, there are always more students needing these laptops than laptops available. By adding two more laptops to our inventory will provide 10 more opportunities each week for students to get their work done and master the skills needed to become Microsoft Certified!
