New play sets will make a difference in my students' learning by increasing their dramatic play skills. As a preschool teacher I know that children learn through play. It is important to have materials available that children can use to interpret how the world around them works. Children in preschool may look like they are just playing but they are gaining real life skills. With your help, my students will be able to act out realistic scenarios such as going to the salon with the Beauty Stylist Set, taking a pet to vet with the Interactive Vet Clinic, and shopping at a mart with the Fresh Picked Food Set. My students are also in need of a large 8'x4' whiteboard. We will us this during our whole group time. It will provide a main focal point for while they are at their table seats and help keep their attention. The large size board will give us plenty of room for our weekly standards and vocabulary with space leftover for our daily activities.
