This scanner, printer, and photocopier will help me provide my students with three fundamental tools that are essential in everyday art-making and portfolio building. With this printer, students will work on a variety of individual and collaborative projects while learning aspects of bookmaking, printmaking, layout and design. Giving students access to scanning technology enables them to digitize, manipulate and share their work. It will help students to upload their original art pieces onto computers which can teach them skills necessary in preparation for college-level visual art and new media learning. By funding this you will help me bring my art classroom into the modern world.
