Receiving these snacks for my students will ease some of their hunger issues while in class because I will have healthy and nutritious snacks available for them in the classroom to hold them over until they go home. Students will also be able to take snacks home to carry them over until dinner time. Trying to focus when working on an empty stomach is really hard, so getting this project funded can make all the difference in keeping my little learners focused and on task as well as taking a snack or two home to hold them over until dinner time or even the next day when they return to school.
