Right now we have an empty room with some pretty nasty old carpet. My students are on the floor much of the period as we practice yoga and breathing techniques. We talk about handling and processing emotions and how to overcome challenges. These young people deserve a a space that is inviting and clean. The flooring will be easy to clean and help the students feel like someone cares and invests in them. It will create an opportunity to practice on floors that they know are being taken care of. They have always commented about how they wish we could have a space that was more fresh and clean. They know that it currently is in the best state I can make it, I just want them to have what they deserve.

About my class
