Many of the items you helped purchase make the school day easier for me and my students. \r\n\r\nOne of the items purchased was Gorilla mounting putty. Having a good supply allows me to easily display students' work without damaging their projects or our walls. \r\n\r\nYou also helped purchase oven bake clay for my art class. Students have not worked with it yet but are excited to start!!\r\n\r\nAnother item was the large dry erase calendar. We do our calendaring monthly to help with the executive function skill of planning. We include school events, students' work schedules, and birthdays on our calendar. I have already had multiple students with me in the space doing work, playing games, and working through hard times. This will be a space that next school year students look forward to using. They couldn't believe how good it looked after I spent a weekend putting everything together and painting. Due to their struggles, our students are not use to people doing nice things for them and providing them with welcoming spaces.
