Using TIME for Kids and Scholastic News magazines will help us read more engaging and interesting materials in our class and small reading groups. We will utilize the articles in the magazines to increase our vocabulary acquisition and comprehension skills. I will also utilize these in our listening station by having students listen to the article being read. When students read more, even when it is for fun, we are acquiring language and many of our students are learning English. Having these materials will allow my students to learn about tons of interesting topics, ideas and acquire more language skills.
