These materials have made a significant impact on our classroom environment and student engagement. We've been using these rewards to encourage positive behavior, completion of tasks, and achievement of learning goals. My students worked diligently to complete their presentations, knowing they could earn rewards for their hard work. The tactile nature of the pop its and squishy pets even provided a calming tool, helping students refocus when they needed it the most.\r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw these new materials, their reactions were filled with excitement and curiosity. They immediately gravitated toward the squishy pets, and many eagerly used the markers to enhance their artwork. This boost in enthusiasm was contagious, leading to increased participation and collaboration throughout lessons. The students even began to encourage one another to stay focused so they could earn rewards. The excitement around the new materials helped create a positive and motivated atmosphere in our classroom, where learning became a shared goal.\r\n\r\nThe impact of these reward items goes beyond motivation; they've also supported emotional regulation in my students. For those who sometimes struggle with frustration or impatience, the squishy pets have become an invaluable tool to manage their emotions. I've witnessed students using them to calm down and regain focus during challenging tasks. The overall result has been a more confident, engaged, and cooperative classroom. Thanks to your support, my students are thriving both academically and emotionally, and they look forward to each day with enthusiasm.\r\n\r\nThank you once again for making such a difference in the lives of my students.","fullyFundedDate":1739746844021,"projectUrl":"project/motivation-mastery-designing-an-effecti/9031978/","projectTitle":"Motivation Mastery: Designing an Effective Student Reward System","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Mullings","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9598892_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1721349779543","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9598892"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_1489","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":513,"numTeachers":46,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":24,"percentWhite":3,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":67,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"11.2:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":66.9,"schoolId":1489,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Hall - Woodward Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Hall - Woodward Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/north-carolina/winston-salem-forsyth-county-schools/hall-woodward-elementary-school/1489"}
