During my first year at MMS, I would love to provide my music appreciation students with positive and exciting musical experiences. Having ukuleles in my classroom will allow for a plethora of learning opportunities, including students who don’t sing in a choir or play an instrument in the band the opportunity to get their hands on an instrument. In addition, students will be able to learn concepts from our state standards through hands on learning (i.e. harmony, performance, tempo, and much more). These instruments will help to cultivate a classroom community that supports meaningful learning experiences, encourages clear communication, and promotes a life long love for music!

About my class
