In class we use technology to address different learning styles. Our district requires that our students use a specific online site to help reinforce important reading skills. When we have computer time, I usually do not have enough laptops to go around. This especially becomes a problem when I need students to work on collaborative research projects or when I ask them to prepare individual PowerPoint presentations. Additional laptops or tablets would really help us get some fun activities done! My bookshelves have been around since the age of the dinosaurs! I have been purchasing various types of books to expose my students to different genres of literature. Now I find that I don't have bookshelves to hold and display my books. The ones I do have are falling apart, and more than once we've had the shelves come crashing down. I am also in need of a file cabinet where I can store many of the materials I use when teaching my novels.
